Welcome to the Heinz Field employment opportunities section. Below you will find information about potential employment in various positions and with various vendors at Heinz Field. Please make sure you read all information concerning the different positions available at Heinz Field before filling out an application or contacting a department head.

We are now recruiting for the upcoming season of events at Heinz Field. These events will include the Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh home games, concerts and special events.

Heinz Field is a state-of-the-art facility that is looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to perform behind the scenes in various capacities. Opportunities may be with either Heinz Field or one of its vendors - the position description will clarify who the employer will be. A successful candidate is one who not only meets the position requirements, but also is enthusiastic, team oriented and personable towards customers and fellow employees. Naturally, every opportunity at Heinz Field has specific position requirements; however, the following items are required of any person interested in working for Heinz Field or its vendors:

 

• Candidates must be able and committed to providing the highest levels of customer service.
• Candidates must be flexible - Able and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays when required.
• Candidates must be able to commute to and from Heinz Field

All positions with Aramark require a flexible schedule and the ability to lift 25lbs and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift. Age Requirement is 18 years or older.

Suite Server:

Responsible for pre-event Luxury Suite set up, serving food and beverage in the Suites, and providing xcellent customer service. Serving experience required. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift

Game Day Suite Runners:

Responsible for delivering food and beverage items to various locations throughout the facility. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Bartenders:

Experience and Certification in Mixology is a plus. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Banquet Servers:

Responsible for serving food and beverages in a fine dining atmosphere. Customer service and banquet experience a must. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Banquet Supervisor:

Responsible for supervision of catering staff during all catering events. Must be able to communicate and motivate employees while ensuring customer service standards are met. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Banquet Housemen:

Responsible for setting and breaking down tables, chairs, dance floors and stages for catered functions. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Cook:

Ability to work cold, prep, and hot lines and desserts. Experience is a plus. Must be able to work flexible schedule. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Kitchen Steward/Utility:

Aids in the preparation and expedition of food and washing of equipment. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Warehouse Worker:

Able to stock and deliver food and beverage items to different locations throughout the facility. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift. Forklift certification and warehouse experience a plus.

Concession Workers:

Responsible for selling, preparing, and receiving payment for general concessions food and beverage items during events at the facility. Excellent customer service skills are required and cashiering experience is a plus. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Game Day Supervisors:

Responsible for supervising a staff of 30-60 employees per event. Must be able to communicate and motivate employees while ensuring customer service standards are being met. Past supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift.

Club Attendant:

Responsible for verbally greeting and providing assistance to guests as well as scanning tickets, as they enter/exit the club lounges. Ensuring the proper individuals gain access to the club lounges as well as maintaining and enforcing club level policies. Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test.

Suite/Club Cleaners:

Post event cleaning of Clubs & Luxury Suites.

Event Staff:

Cleaning and maintaining concourses and restrooms during events.

Event Staff Supervisor:

Directs and works along with event/game day staff.

Pressure Washers:

Post event pressure washing of seating areas and concourses.

Blowers:

Post event clean-up/blowing in seating areas and concourses.

Supervisors:

Overseeing of post-event cleaning staff.

Event Staff:

Landmark Event Staffing Services provides crowd management and event staffing services for Steelers and University of Pittsburgh football games, and other special events at Heinz Field. We also provide services for concerts and other venues in the Pittsburgh region. Landmark is seeking fan-friendly individuals to assist in providing Heinz Field guests with a fantastic experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass criminal background check.

Seat Attendant Supervisor:

Responsible for overseeing a select number or seat attendants. Assist seat attendants with greeting patrons and monitoring/supervising seating sections Assist seat attendants by preventing patrons from obstructing others views’ by walking to their seats while a play is in action. Brief designated seat attendants prior to event on their specific responsibilities and job duties. Responsible for enforcing all Heinz Field policies and procedures. Assist city service personnel (police, EMS, etc.) and other building staff when needed. Must excel in verbal and written communication. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, etc… Must be able to pass criminal background check and a drug test.

Ticket Taker Supervisor:

Responsible for overseeing a select number or Ticket Takers and Gate Watchers Assist Ticket Takers with greeting patrons and monitoring/supervising turnstiles Assist Ticket Takers with ticket scanner issues Brief designated Ticket Takers and Gate Watchers prior to event on their specific responsibilities and job duties Responsible for enforcing all Heinz Field policies and procedures. Assist city service personnel (police, EMS, etc.) and other building staff when needed. Must excel in verbal and written communication. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, etc… Must be ablel to pass criminal background check and a drug test.

Guest Services:

Responsible for greeting and providing assistance to all guests, have specific knowledge of Heinz Field layout and policies, to assist guests with questions and/or comments.

Report Takers:

Responsible for incident/accident reports on event days. Ability to multi-task and manage intense situations. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer knowledge, typing, and detail oriented are required.

Elevator Operators:

Responsible for verbally greeting guests, operating the elevator and checking tickets.

Store Cashier:

Responsible for greeting guests, answering questions on merchandise and ringing up of sales.

Store Associate:

Responsible for greeting guests, assisting guests with locating merchandise and store housekeeping. These are union positions which fall under Local 250 Union. If hired for either position, you would be required to join the Local 250 and incur any costs/fees associated.

Keeping the aisles and walkway’s clear of patrons. Proactively assisting patrons with any questions or concerns they may have Ensuring patrons do not obstruct others views’ by walking to their seats while a play is in action. Checking your section post-event for any lost items. Reporting any and all incidents to Event Manager

Club Seat Attendant:

Responsible for verbally greeting guests as they enter, directing guests to their seats  and monitoring/supervising sections. Keeping the aisles and walkway’s clear of patrons. Suite Attendant:

Provide customer service to all guests, scan tickets, answer questions, greet guests, pre/post event Suite check, respond to special requests and solve problems according to Luxury Suite/Heinz Field policies.

Ticket Seller:

Responsible for verbally greeting guests, selling tickets through a Ticketmaster system and maintaining accountability.

This is a union position which falls under the Pittsburgh Stadium Independent Employees Union (PSIEU).  If hired for this position, you would be required to join the PSIEU and incur any costs/fees associated.
