COLLEGE: Derek Moye enjoyed a standout career as three-year starter at Penn State…was a three-time honorable mention All-Big Ten performer…finished career with nearly 2,400 receiving yards on 144 receptions…hauled in 18 career receiving touchdowns…started every game but two in his final three seasons…majored in park and tourism management. 2011: Started all 11 games…led the team with 40 catches for 654 yards and three touchdowns…also returned four punts for 64 yards…caught a season-high seven passes for 112 yards in victory at Temple…made a pair of touchdown grabs against Eastern Michigan to go along with 6 catches for 65 yards…finished with a game-high 158 yards receiving on six catches, including a touchdown at Indiana…the 158 yards were also a season-high for Penn State receivers. 2010: Started every game…finished the season with 53 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns…also recorded two carries for 38 yards…had at least one touchdown catch in seven of the final eight contests…finished second in the conference with a 16.7 yards per catch average…an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection…hauled in three passes for 106 yards and a touchdown against Illinois…caught three passes for a game-high 72 yards in win over Michigan…totaled a team-high six receptions for 90 yards and a score against Indiana…caught five balls for 65 yards and one touchdown in Michigan State contest and also forced and recovered the first fumble of his career on special teams…nabbed a game-high five passes for 79 yards and one touchdown in the Outback Bowl against Florida. 2009: Started every game…led the team with 48 catches for 785 yards and six touchdowns…his 16 receptions of at least 20 yards was also tops on the team…finished second in the conference averaging 16.4 yards per reception…made first career start in season opener against Akron…hauled in six passes for 138 yards and a score, including four catches of at least 20 yards…led the team with six catches for 120 yards and one touchdown in a win over Minnesota…went over the 100-yard mark in receiving yards versus Northwestern with 123 yards on six grabs…marked his third straight game with at least six catches and his third 100-yard receiving game of the season…grabbed three passes for 53 yards, including a 37-yard TD catch in the Capitol One Bowl win over LSU. 2008: Saw action in 12 games…caught three passes for 71 yards and a touchdown…his first career touchdown came on a 33-yard catch-and-run at Syracuse. 2007: Redshirted.

PERSONAL: Derek Moye is a graduate of Rochester High School (Rochester, Pa.)…a three-time first-team all-state selection during prep career…earned 2005 WPIAL Class-A Player of the Year honors…led Rochester to the state championship game in 2004…participated in the “Big 33” All-Star Game and was two-time conference MVP…as a senior, carried 158 times for 1,205 yards and 20 touchdowns and caught 16 passes for 430 and five scores…also registered three touchdowns on returns and intercepted three passes on defense…was also the Class-AA State track champion in the 200-meter and 400-meter dash…earned first-team all-section honors in basketball and baseball during high school days…son of Jeramie and Diane Moye…older brother, Jermaine, played college football at West Virginia University and California University (Pa.)…Full Name: Derek Robert Moye.
