PRO (130-96/16-8): Signed a five-year contract with the Steelers on August 31, 2009 to remain with the team through 2013...named as the third Pro Bowl alternate at DE for the AFC for his success during the 2011 season…earned Steelers Walter Payton Man of the Year honors in 2011 for his efforts on the field but off the field as well…named to his first Pro Bowl for his play during the 2010 season...signed a four-year contract with the Steelers during the 2006 offseason...co-recipient of the “Chief Award”, given annually to the player who best exemplifies the spirit of cooperation with the media (in 2006 with Deshea Townsend)...originally drafted by the Steelers in the seventh round (242nd overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft.
