It was back to work for the Steelers on Monday, with another short week to prepare for their final preseason game, Thursday against the Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field.
“This is a significant week for a lot of guys,” said Coach Mike Tomlin. “Guys trying to make a final push, make a final statement that they belong and we’re all sensitive to that and working hard with that in mind.”
On the injury front, wide receiver Lance More, safety
“Not at this time, no,” said Tomlin. “They weren’t able to participate today. We’ll see what they look like tomorrow with the understanding of what lies ahead after this week.”
Spence said the injury was just a sprained PCL, and nothing more serious, and he expects to only miss this week’s preseason game.
“I should be good,” said Spence. “It’s not a very serious injury. I’m going to sit out this week and then we’re going to try to give it a go next week.”
